OSI TAC WITS

Data from satellites can provide a wealth of information about the ocean. In the project "OSI TAC Wind, Sea Ice and Temperature at the Sea Surface Service", researchers worked to make these available and usable through the Copernicus service.

IMOS

In the "Isfjorden Marine Observatory Svalbard" project, researchers monitored plankton in the Isfjorden at Svalbard to study the effects of climate change at the base of the Arctic food web.

IceMotion

Sea ice is one of the most prominent climate indicators in the Arctic, and sea ice data is therefore important both in climate research and in operational monitoring and ice map production. The project "High resolution sea-ice motion from Synthetic Aperture Radar using pattern tracking and Doppler shift" has focused on deriving high-resolution sea-ice motion data from SAR satellites.
