Hanne Sagen

Research Leader, Senior Researcher

Hanne Sagen started her research career at the Nansen Center in 1988. She holds a Dr. Scient in Applied Mathematics from the University in Bergen. She is specialized in underwater acoustics and leads the Acoustic and Oceanography Group at the Nansen Center.

Sagen leads projects focused on technologies and methods to observe and understand changes in the marine environment in the Arctic and in coastal areas.
