Lingling Suo

Lingling Suo is a climatologist and obtained her PhD at the Department of Atmospheric Science, Peking University, China in 2008.

Suo has been focusing much of her work on climate change in the Arctic and in Eurasia. She is particularly interested in what happens to the climate on decadal and multi-decadal timescales. Another field she works with are interactions between the ocean, sea ice, and the atmosphere. These three are the major components of the earth system and their interactions influence the water cycle, weather, and climate, all of which are of great importance to society globally.
