Lingling Suo
Researcher
Lingling Suo is a climate scientist who obtained her PhD from the Department of Atmospheric Science, Peking University, China, in 2008.
She is particularly interested in Earth’s energy imbalance and rapid global warming, along with climate variability on decadal and multi-decadal timescales. Suo’s research focuses on climate change globally, in the Arctic, and across Eurasia. Another key area of her work is ocean, sea ice and atmosphere interactions – three major components of the Earth system. These coupled processes influence the water cycle, weather, and climate, with profound implications for societies worldwide.
