Simon Cappe

Research Assistant

Simon Cappe is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics at Mines Paris – PSL, which he joined after completing a two-year bachelor program in Mathematics and Physics.

His job as research assistant at the Nansen Center will be to enhance the machine learning-based harmful algae bloom forecasting system along the Norwegian coastline, thanks to the high-resolution ocean model Norkyst800.
