Björn Backeberg

Björn Backeberg is a senior researcher at the Marine and Coastal Systems Unit at Deltares in the Netherlands. At the Nansen Center, he is involved in project proposals with a focus on interaction between the freshwater cycle and coastal areas and the open sea. In recent years, he has been involved in work with ocean modelling, remote sensing, and applications of cloud computing. He has also had an active role in the Nansen-Tutu Centre with applications of ocean models in the Agulhas region.
