It is therefore important to convey these in a way that is adapted to different recipient groups.<\/p><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We use digital technologies such as geographic information systems (GIS), storytelling, and videos to present our research in an easy-to-understand way. Most of the data sets we use in research are so-called geographical\/geophysical data, which describe conditions or forecasts for a given area, for a time or period. Use of GIS for dynamic visualization on maps is therefore well suited to conveying this type of data. Components can be built in here to retrieve data from various sources, and to process, analyse, and present these.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In addition to map productions, other information and knowledge can be conveyed to researchers, users in the public and private sector, and the wider community through storytelling and other multimedia forms. This can be done through interactive websites where short and concise texts explain and elaborate on research results and how these can be applied.
