In her Master&#8217;s thesis she compared model, in-situ and satellite data of the sea-ice surface temperature from the MOSAiC expedition. She obtained her PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU, Norway) in 2026. In her PhD studies, she analysed the dependency of iceberg drift simulations on the input atmosphere, ocean, and sea-ice data.<\/p>\n<p>Herrmannsd\u00f6rfer studies the interaction of atmosphere, ocean and ice in the Arctic.
