4SICE
Human activities in the Arctic such as transport or tourism can only take place in a safe way with good warnings for sea ice, both for months and seasons in advance. These alerts need improvement. The project "Towards skillful subseasonal-to-seasonal sea ice prediction" aims to improve one of our sea ice models and use new information from the Arctic to be able to produce better sea ice warnings for these periods.
